Finnish-American artist Liisa Roberts is perhaps most known for her collaborative project 'VYBORG: a town library in Viipuri' which was inspired by the restoration of the now Russian city's public library designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto in the late 20's. It exposed a younger generation's view of this city's post-Communist present and future. Roberts has recently taken part in 56th Venice Biennale's international art exhibition All the World's Futures, curated by Okwui Enwezor.
Roberts' work is part of the exhibition Finnish Landscapes - Contemporary Art at Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, curated by Joanna Warsza.
