Annika Eriksson is a Swedish artist based in Berlin, known for initiating everyday situations or collective actions. Many of Eriksson’s works concern the public and urban space and question the perception of time, structures of power, and social visions. Eriksson plays with the heated debates around the public realm and structures that regulate it, revealing the urban changes and how this is subject to unexpected political appropriations and inversions.
Ericsson's work is part of the exhibition Finnish Landscapes - Contemporary Art at Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, curated by Joanna Warsza.
